A Tribute to a Favorite

So Michael thinks I shouldn't blog about this. But I am because it has been a part of my life for the last 14 years! And now I have to say good-bye. I always knew this day would come, even back when it started and I would be with my roommate gathered together for this weekly event, I knew it would not last forever. It had a good run, and I can honestly say I have not missed one episode of ER. (Truely sad isn't it) I have been a fan from the start, My friends from Apartment E-4 at Ricks were the ones that got me started, and it has lasted for 14 years. And this Thrusday it will come to an end. I am so sad. What are my Thursday nights going to consist of now!!! There is always Grey's and Private Practice, but in my opinion ER was the first!! A few weeks ago Even George Clooney came back for a show, so to any of you who may be as big of a fan as me I feel your pain and sadness at this loss

NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!

Okay so here it is almost April, and though I knew there would be snow, I had no idea it would keep on coming!! Last Monday there was a blizzard, and now we are home again with another blizzard!!! ( and one is forcast for next monday also)!!!! I am so ready for the spring!! I want to start getting our yard in and some landscaping done, I would also lilke to do some sightseeing, but it is hard when it is always snowing.

We also had the pinewood derby, and this year it was a success!!! For all of you who witnessed last years disaster, when Anthony's derby car barely made it down the track, this year it not only went down the track, but came in 2nd in 99% of the races!!! So needless to say we were thrilled for his success!! He also qualified for city derby races! He is very excited about that (we haven't told him that he was the only one from our ward in is troop so he was going to make it no matter what) But he doesn't need to know that. Our downstairs is coming together nicely, Since Michael has had a lot of time off(thanks to the blizzards) we have been able to keep things moving on it. We are heading down to Utah soon, and have made quite a shopping list for IKEA! We are totally addicted to that store. LOVE IT. I am creativity handicapped, and when they have the show rooms already put together it makes it so much easier for me.

Procrasti . . . I'll do it later!

Okay so I keep telling myself I will post as soon as I download the pictures, then I find out that my camera needs new batteries, and thanks to modern technology, the boys are always needing batteries, so needless to say i need to buy new batteries. So please be patient with me while I figure out my life, and try to prioritize, so eventually I will be a good mom, and post those Christmas and basketball and so on and so forth. Right now the one quote that keeps on popping into my head is the one about that road and good intentions. . . I'm sure ya'll know the rest. As for the activities, we work, I volunteer, I sleep and of course eat!! That is pretty much my day, Michael is trying to get me to go snow mobiling this weekend, I've told him that he can go but I really have no interest. Yes after complaining for the last 6 years that I couldn't wait for lotsa' cold weather and lotsa' snow, I'm ready for hot weather again! I won't officially say that I miss Texas, but when I hear that it is 80 degrees, I find myself daydreaming about shorts, and tanning. Don't get me wrong I really like it here, it is so beautiful, but I just wish it were a bit warmer!!!!! Thankfully yesterday and today were in the 60's, but snow is supposedly in the forecast. My mom used to say that the only time I was ever happy is if i am complaining. So I must be very happy, right!!!! Okay so I will get those batteries and post a marathon of pictures soon I promise
