It's time to go!!! : )

So this is it, my last post for the next three week! We are so ready for this vacation. We have been ready for the last 2 months!! I wanted to post a couple of pictures of some of the things we have been able to do while we have been here. Not a whole lot. The majority of the time has been spent unpacking. The boys are so driving me out of my mind. I try not to get to upset with them, because I know that they are just bored out of their minds some days. But that time is over and let the fun begin.
Oh btw, yes I did touch the turtle, one of them was over 120 yrs old!! Boy they can sure move when they want to.







I have some of the boys petting a alligator, but can't seem to find it. I will post it when I do.

1. I play games on the computer! There I said it. I love the hidden object games, I rationalize this by telling myself that these types of games sharpen my mind!! lol

2. I don't like to leave my house! I am a homebody. If I don't have to go out I won't. (some of you are probably thinking that's why she never went to enrichment!)

3. I would live in my pajamas if I could. Also I would like to burn every pair of jeans I own. Thank you Michael for putting up with this.

4. I have very little patience, with adults. I figure adults should be able to get some where on time, or call if they can't make it.

5. Things that I can't control drive me to anxiety attacks. Like growing older, and my kids growing up. Time passing in general is something I can't dwell on or else I would constantly have to be drugged.

6. And Jess this one is for you. I hate eating in front of people, especially those ones that I know. You remember our breakfasts @ IHOP? I ordered but ate hardly anything! I would be so thin if I always had to eat in front of friends all the time.

A Calling?!?!??!

Yes would you believe that I got a calling actually 2. I was actually called last week and sustained just Sunday! Take a wild guess? Okay the first one is a given. RS pianist, the second one, okay everyone hold on to your seats!!!! Enrichment night leader!!!! So for all of you rolling in fits of laughter, because now I get paybacks, for all the enrichment nights that I missed! So finially instead of going on my own, now I am called to go!

Coming Along

Michael checked the blog last night, and told me that I needed to update the blog. Well not much has been going on. I swear the boxes are multiplying in the garage, it is a endless process! And I am pretty much at a stopping point. The upstairs is overflowing and I need the downstairs done so we can finish unloading the garage. Luckily we have already made some great friends in the ward. And 6 or 7 of them are coming to help put the walls up tonight. So it is coming slowly but surely. Silly me thought that we would be able to take our time finishing up the downstairs, but we are finding that it needs to get done. NOW! I think that most of it will be done by Halloween. I am going to continue to hound Michael to keep working on it. I think he will, he wants to be able to put both the cars in the garage before it gets too cold. Speaking of cold, it is already in the 40's here at night. I have been digging through all the boxes looking for my sweaters! I have found a couple of them. Everything is so random, none of the boxes make sense, I think they just put things in boxes that fit, not by catagory. Honestly we will never have the military move us again! It was nice not having to pack, but I am too much of a control monger to have them do it again. It is driving my crazy. Plus we were at our max weight! Soooo we might have to do it ourselves again. Anyway I am taking to boys to the library, only 9 more days to go!!! I am more looking forward to getting them in school. I must have been crazy to not put them in school!

This is probably going to be the first of many trips we take up to Rushmore, but the first is always the most exciting!

So this is my fridge, like I said we don't have our household goods yet, so we bought this little fridge, it is amazing how much you can cram in this little space!

This is absolutely not normal, my kids have never put together a puzzle!! But it was this or twiddle there thumbs, I am so sick and tired of them playing the playstation. However without that stupid playstation, I think that we would have gone crazy! Below is what they are normally doing.

What else can I say!

Yes this is our laundry rooom, well it will be as soon as we get our things!!Do you like the floors, I did them all by myself! (gotta love that peel and stick!)

Luckily there is not a lot of dishes, I think by now you can guess why! Maybe I will stick with paper plates after our things get in!

Yes I do have more clothes, but and I bet you know what I am going to say. So I won't say it.

Well these are my favorite, only because they are the only ones I have right now! Well there are my heels, but they don't come close to my favorite!

Yes I am that tired, I am including a picture of where Michael and I have been sleeping, and I have not slept very good for a long time.

Welcome to the Master bedroom, trust me it is more uncomfortable than it looks! Only 4 more days and I will have my kings size, foam, inner spring matteress again!

I forgot my dream vacation, just look at the top of the blog, the one about Disney, and that will do for now!

Okay I have taken the pictures, but with all my luck, at the last pic, my batteries died, and I either have to wait til tomorrow, or until I get my charger unpacked, which won't be until the 4th of September!! Yes as you will see in the picture, I am truly 'roughing it' and as many of you know I don't 'rough it' So sleeping on the floor is not what I call having fun. But since we have the house, and since TLF was truly filthy we moved in with just the BARE necessities!! Even less if you ask me. So I will get batteries soon (tomorrow) and everyone should get a kick out of our living situation!

We Have Arrived

Well we are here! I miss everyone so much. I have met a couple of people. Yet I am so nervous about the ward. Nothing will compare to everyone there in the Burk ward! The house is nice. I am a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Some of it was a little of a surprise. Not anything big, but the yard is a bit smaller that I thought, most of it is because the house is not centered on the lot! A lot of the yard is one the side of the house, which is what I was afraid of. I could kind of tell that it was not centered by some of the pictures, the only worry with that is where to build the fence. Something with the builder and neighborhood covenants. But those of you who know me, know that I can usually get what I want!
At least I can say that is BEAUTIFUL!! We had a small electrical storm last night, and the lightening shot through the sky, the boys had never seen anything like it. Another thing is how many things there are to do here. People weren't kidding when they told us about how many things there are to do here. Driving through town we say 2 indoor water parks! The kids haven't stopped begging us to go there. One funny note, at least it is funny to me, on the weather last night, they were commenting on how hot a day it was. It was only 92. I had a good laugh at that one.
But I miss everyone so much, and I want to come back so bad. Love ya guys so much.

I wasn't going to post today, I am at the library, with the boys, and Michael. And I am sure they can only play so many games of checkers! But we just got some more pictures, and I wanted to share them with you! These were taken on the 12th, so we willl see if the house is done by next Friday! Wish us luck on our new adventure!

The times is Come!

Well Tomorrow is packing day, or at least the first of the 3 days they are taking to pack. So I am going to make a post now, I am sure, almost that I will be able to get some pics of the house on Tuesday, but I am not sure what kind of internet service we will have in TLF. Or worse case, our ancient laptop won't work, I never know when that relic will work or not. It never really likes to work for me.

I have been meaning to post these pic since Mandi left, but could never find the camera, thanks to Zack!!! These are just some more of the 'good times' we had befoer Everett and Taegan left!
